Lamprobe - for Minor Skin Irregularities™

The Lamprobe is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a small medical instrument which rapidly and successfully treats a variety of Minor Skin Irregularities™ on the surface of the skin, using radio frequencies. The Lamprobe typically delivers instantaneous results in one treatment, without the need of anesthesia. The sensation produced is similar to a tight pinch of the skin. Sensitive skins, thin skins, and aging skins can be treated as well, as the Lamprobe settings can be adjusted easily to accommodate a variety of skin types. The Lamprobe effectively treats all skin types across all ethnicities.

Please be aware that patients with pacemakers and/or other electronic implanted devices are not eligible to receive Lamprobe treatments.

    • Avoid sun exposure and tanning (including self-tanners) for at least 7 days prior to treatment.

    • Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily if you are outdoors.

    • Do not treat irritated, infected, sunburned, or broken skin. Notify us of any cold sores, rashes, or acne in the area.

    Discontinue the use of:

    • Retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin, etc.)

    • Alpha or beta hydroxy acids (AHA/BHA)

    • Benzoyl peroxide

    • Exfoliating products for 3–5 days before your appointment.

    • Do not schedule treatment within 2 weeks of a chemical peel, microneedling, or laser procedure in the same area.

    • Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup, lotion, sunscreen, or fragrance.

    Inform us if you are taking:

    • Blood thinners

    • Isotretinoin (Accutane)

    • Any medication that affects healing or increases sensitivity.

    • Do not directly touch the treated area with unclean hands for 24-48 hours.

    • Apply antibacterial ointment for 24 hours after treatment.

    • Do not pick at the scabs.

    • If itchy, apply Hydrocortisone cream to the treated area.

    • Apply band aids before showering for the first 24 hours.

    • Use mild products without alcohol when cleansing skin.

    • Pat dry. Do not rub the area.

    • Do not apply makeup on the treated area for 24 hours, or until skin is healed.

    • Do not use exfoliating, peeling, or bleaching products for 21 days.

    • Use SPF 30 during the day.
