Collagen, elastin and fat are the major components of the skin which give it structure. When these components are present in high amounts, skin is supple, firm and plump. As the skin ages, these components gradually decrease, leading to the skin becoming thinner, less full and more lined with wrinkles.

Enhancing your features with Dermal Fillers can replace lost collagen, some can even promote the production of new collagen. This allows the face to appear firmer and more youthful by restoring the skin's volume and filling deep wrinkles. Not only are Dermal Fillers used to restore lost volume and firmness to the skin, they can also be used to sculpt and change the appearance of the face.

Compared to more intensive anti-aging procedures, Dermal Fillers are a relatively inexpensive and effective way to address skin concerns. Although facelifts and other similar surgical procedures provide more long-lasting results, Dermal Fillers still offer lasting, comparable results at a more affordable cost. With most Dermal Fillers, patients can expect to go without a touch-up treatment for up to nine months.

Also, Dermal Fillers are an excellent solution for patients wanting the benefits of an successful anti-aging procedure but lack time for a prolonged recovery period.
