BioRePeel

BioRePeel is a biophase treatment peel which dissolves bonds between cells allowing it to gently slough off the dulling, top layer of the epidermis, with little to no downtime, to reveal smooth and glowing skin underneath. It prevents the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other symptoms of ageing on the skin. In addition to stimulating fibroblasts (cells that maintain tension and firmness), it increases cell turnover and collagen production for long-lasting effects. As a microbial and antibacterial treatment, it will also help with acne and the redness that accompanies it. Additionally, this peel is suitable for all skin types and is not photosensitive, making it an ideal treatment for year-round use.

The BioRePeel can be booked as a single service (1 session), or in a package of 3 or 4 sessions. For best results, it is ideal to perform the BioRePeel 4 to 6 times 10 days apart. Further treatments may be recommended by the Esthetician.

The BioRePeel flourishes with moisture, so keep the face moisturized and very little flaking will occur.

  • Product Discontinuation (5-7 Days Before Your Peel), stop using all products containing:

    • Retinoids (Retinol, Tretinoin, Retin-A, etc.)

    • Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs like Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid)

    • Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs like Salicylic Acid)

    • Strong Vitamin C serums

    • Benzoyl Peroxide

These ingredients can increase skin sensitivity and may lead to excessive irritation or complications when combined with a peel.

If you are unsure about any of your current products, please contact us.

Avoid Sun Exposure & Tanning (2 Weeks Before Your Peel):

    • Minimize direct sun exposure to the treatment area.

    • Absolutely no tanning beds.

    • Sunburned or tanned skin can react unpredictably to a chemical peel and increases the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark spots).

Always use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, even on cloudy days.

Avoid Hair Removal & Exfoliation (1 Week Before Your Peel):

    • Do not wax, thread, use depilatory creams, or undergo electrolysis on the area to be treated.

    • Avoid any abrasive exfoliants, including facial scrubs, loofahs, exfoliating brushes (like Clarisonic), or microdermabrasion treatments. These can compromise the skin barrier and increase sensitivity.

    Medications & Medical History:

Inform us immediately if you are currently taking Accutane (Isotretinoin) or have taken it within the last 6-12 months. Chemical peels are contraindicated for clients on Accutane.

Disclose all medications (prescription and over-the-counter), supplements, and any medical conditions you have, especially:

    • Cold sores (Herpes Simplex Virus) – if you have a history of cold sores, we may recommend a prophylactic antiviral medication.

    • Allergies

    • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

    • Eczema, psoriasis, or active skin infections in the treatment area.

Avoid Alcohol Consumption (24 Hours Before Your Peel):

Alcohol can dehydrate your skin and may increase sensitivity during the peel.

    Hydration:

Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your peel. Well-hydrated skin generally responds better to treatments.

    • You may or may not physically peel and each case depends on the individual.

    • Avoid makeup directly after peel. Gently apply makeup if needed.

    • Daily use of sunscreen (minimum SPF 30).

    • Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks.

    • Avoid retinol, glycolic and lactic acid for two weeks unless told otherwise.

  • Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that utilizes a 10-gauge scalpel to gently remove the outer layer of dull, dead skin cells and vellus hair (a.k.a. "peach fuzz") in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. This treatment includes a facial cleanse, dermaplaning of the face, followed by a serum, and SPF/moisturizer for an amazing glow. One of the most noticeable benefits of removing the vellus hair, is that makeup will appear more even and smooth on the treated skin. Also, facial creams and serums are able to reach the epidermis, or bottom skin layer.

  • Microneedling, also known as percutaneous collagen induction therapy, is administered with a handheld, electrically powered, drum or pen-shaped device, with tiny needles that make precise, microscopic punctures in the skin. These “micro-injuries” do not leave scars; they help stimulate the skin to repair itself naturally through a process called dermal remodeling. A topical anesthetic cream is applied beforehand to help numb the area being treated. This process starts with inflammation, which stimulates the skin to produce new collagen (the elastic fibers that make skin tight, smooth, and youthful). Collagen levels in the skin decline with age, and new collagen can only be produced when the skin is in repair mode. Applied to the neck and décolleté, this treatment helps keep the skin smooth and firm.

    Aftercare Advisories:
-Don’t apply any lotions, creams, or makeup to the treated areas for the first 12 hours after treatment.
-Keep your skin out of the sun for at least 14 - 30 days after treatment.
-Avoid tanning beds and self-tanning products at least 7 to 14 days after treatment.
-Don’t use vitamin A products (such as Retin-A, Retinol, and Tazorac) 7 days after treatment.
-Delay chemical peels until 30 days after the treatment.
-Try not to shave the treated areas for 3 to 7 days after treatment.
-Avoid sweating, exercising, and using a Jacuzzi, sauna, or steam bath for 3 to 7 days after treatment.
-Don’t use any exfoliating medications or chemical products on the skin for at least 7 days after treatment.

  • The Pressotherapy Compression Suit consists of a pumping system delivered by special accessories equipped with air chambers. These chambers get inflated alternately, pushing fluids from the extremities of the limbs inwards. It is designed to increase the venous and lymphatic flow and enhance extra-cellular fluid clearance. It also helps relieve muscle and joint pain, stimulating the immune system and improving circulation. Which leads to relieving stress, and reducing the appearance of cellulite.
